Future Continuous

Tense that indicates that something will occur in the future and continue for an expected length of time.

Čas, který vyjadřuje, že k něčemu dojde v budoucnosti a daný děj bude pokračovat po určitou dobu.

To be + verb in -ing form (going, making, telling, etc.)

To be + sloveso v průběhovém tvaru (koncovka -ing – going, making, telling, atd.)

To be going to be + verb in -ing form (going, making, telling, etc.)

To be going to be + sloveso v průběhovém tvaru (koncovka -ing – going, making, telling, atd.)

Voluntary action in a moment in the future:

• I will be traveling this summer.
• I am going to be relaxing this weekend.

Dobrovolnou činnost probíhající v budoucnosti:

• Tohle léto budu cestovat.
• Tento víkend budu odpočívat.

Interrupted action in the future:

• I am going to be working when you get there.
• He will be waiting when she arrives.

Přerušenou činnost v budoucnosti:

• Až se tam dostaneš, budu pracovat.
• Až přijede, bude čekat.

Specific time in the future:

• Tommorow at 8 am, I will be sitting at the airport.
• Today at noon, this show will be airing.

Činnost odehrávající se ve specifický čas v budoucnosti:

• Zítra v 8 hodin ráno budu sedět na letišti.
• Tenhle pořad poběží dnes v poledne.

Parallel actions:

• Tonight we will be talking, eating, and having a good time.
• I will be writing and he will be helping.

Činnosti probíhající současně:

• Dnes večer si budeme povídat, budeme jíst a budeme se bavit.
• Budu psát a on mi bude pomáhat.

Atmosphere in the future:

• When we go to that concert, everybody is going to be excited.
• At the dinner, they will all be talking about it.

Atmosféra v budoucnosti:

• Až půjdeme na ten koncert, všichni budou natěšení.
